Welcome to my website, the Pompey Pet Nanny, providing dog walking, pet sitting, dog boarding, house sitting and pet taxi services throughout the whole of Portsmouth, Hampshire.
The areas covered by myself and employees include Southsea, Eastney, Milton, Gunwharf, Copnor, Fratton, Northend, Hilsea, Cosham and Drayton

Hi my name is Kath and I am the Pompey Pet Nanny! A few years ago now, a friend of mine mentioned that she needed her dog walking. As i was working only part time at the time, i thought this would be a little extra income and jumped at the chance. Then, pleased with my work they told their friend, and they told theirs and before I knew it my dog walking had become a full time job!!
Aswell as dog walking, I also offer dog boarding (where the dog stays in my house), dog sitting (where one of my staff stay with dog in the dogs own home), cat sitting , small animal visits , house sitting and pet taxi
Services provided:
The Pompey Pet Nanny will fit around your working day, holiday or social schedule. As I am a full-time business operating 365 days a year I can offer flexibility and can often attend at short notice, should the circumstance arise. I now employ several members of staff, who help cover the areas that I am unable to cover for the dog walking, and some who also board dogs when I am full up.
I myself and all members of my staff are fully insured with Pet Business Insrance which covers care, custody and control of an animal in our care, public libility insurance up to £2,000,000 and key cover. References are available on request too.

Dogs with issues:
As a genuine dog lover of all breeds, i do understand that some dogs may have behavioural issues that prevent them from walking/ boarding with other dogs. Whether that be because of aggression, anxiety, nervousness or fear . Thats why i now offer 1-on-1 dog walks, and individual boarding (with experienced employee). I have a special place in my heart for these types of dogs as one of my childhood best pals was a dog aggressive/people aggresive terrier called Paddy!! (see picture above) If only I knew then what i know today, i surely could have helped him become more stable and sociable!!
Please feel free to ring me to discuss any dog, i always try to help anyone that i can. If i am unable to find a suitable boarder/ walker in your area then i can definately recommend an excellent dog behaviourist who may be able to help your dog directly with their issues. oh
